Bottom Line Up Front: The excellent facilities and amazing staff at Next Generation are a big part of the significant and speedy recovery of my shoulder after a fall and dislocation. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Five weeks ago, I had one of those freak accidents in the kitchen. Slipped and put my arm out while falling, resulting in dislocation and injury. The folks at the orthopedic doc’s office called it the “blue plate special” — nearly every injury you can have for a shoulder. He thought that surgery would be a likely need, and agreed to letting me try physical therapy to see if I could regain motion and stability. He referred me to Next Generation.

Dr. Emily was my primary therapist and did an amazing job of assessing my shoulder and giving me exercises and therapy to regain use. The facilities and equipment are top shelf. The staff at NG plays zone — always there to provide professional assistance and advice when Emily was with another patient. The result was significant improvement in motion and stability of my shoulder. The orthopedic doc was impressed with my progress and just advised me to “get on with life.”

Getting on with life without surgery is huge, as was the contribution of Next Generation in the outcome. I will definitely continue my recovery here!

Ryan was able to figure out more in a half hour than any doctor at the VA has found in the past several years. I can’t wait to see and feel the results from physical therapy now that we know what the main issue seems to be! Thank you guys!!!!

Having had 3 operations to my shoulder, one due to a physical therapist getting a bit too involved in the stretching after surgery, I have a healthy fear of physical therapy.

But I must say, Dr. Emily has been awesome. My shoulder gets stronger with each passing visit. I dread going to put much less because of the staff and treatment I have received. I have and will continue to recommend these folks to anyone with an injury or a need of therapy.

My thanks to them for all they have done.

SUPER impressed with NGPT! My pre-teen daughter was very skeptical after learning she needed therapy but Jacob and his staff are so welcoming and have made her and I feel very comfortable each and every time we step foot in the door!! We have learned so much and have no doubt Jacob will get her on track now and for the future to help prevent pain and injury! Best decision ever!

After having shoulder surgery, I was worried about physical therapy. Being retired military and usually ending up with the lowest bidder, I was lucky enough to find Next Generation!! Thanks to Emily I was able to hold my twin grandbabies at the same time!! She is truly amazing and knowledgable about what is going to work to get you back to 110%!! Thank you so much Emily!! You ROCK!!

Dr Jacob Johnson is the best! I injured my knee working at my private farm school and day camp. I was in excruciating pain when I kneeled down on my right knee. I got in really quick to see him and within 24 hours I was able to use my knee with no pain! I love the work Dr Jacob and his team do at Next Generation and have already recommended him to several people! They are a very progressive and forward thinking team of true professionals!

Have been seeing Jacob and his staff for a couple of weeks now, due to knee pain. Jacob and his staff are very professional and they are making advances on me, getting me back to where I need to be. If you’re looking for someone to help you reach that goal. Call him or his staff.. Next Generation Physical Therapy is the best…

I know I’ve told some that I was going to try and speed up recovery from my shoulder surgery. I went in thinking just 3 anchors and 2 tendons and a ligament. 6 tendons 2 ligaments and 8 metal anchors later, this is going to be tough to have the recovery that I wanted. Just hoping my Dr will let me start physical therapy sometime soon… I’m still going to use next generation physical therapy in cabot… Dr Jacob Johnson might be young, but the knowledge he has and teaches is great… hope to be back there soon so I may be able to get back to work as soon as possible….

Awesome group of people who are very welcoming and motivating. Their goal is to not just help you recover, but make you better than before your injury by using cutting edge tech and creative methods.

My husband was literally just there today and he said this place was awesome! Jacob is such a great PT and I highly recommend him! We both have had Jacob in the past and am glad to see he has finally got his own place! Our family will only go here! If you are looking for an honest, fun, trustworthy place.. THIS IS THE PLACE!! Thanks Jacob for everything you do! Keep it up!

Next Generation is an awesome place! Jacob is very concerned about my son! I really felt like he cares about Kadens well being and not just another client. Wonderful experience! They even set up 6am visits so I didn’t have to miss work!

And this folks, is why I see Jacob. HE called ME. I’m hurting and HE called ME to get me in.
Above and beyond, not everyone does that. Go here, you won’t be sorry!

First day was good but I’m a little sore. The employees there seem very professional and I’m looking forward to going back. I definitely would recommend them.

I woke up one morning and was literally in tears trying to walk. Something had happened to my back. My daughters had appointments that day and I proceeded to get that done. I was trying to find a local chiropractor while sitting in the waiting area and it was suggested to me that I try Next Generation. To be honest I hadn’t even thought of physical therapy as an option. That was a week ago and I cannot tell you enough how ecstatic I am about making Next Generation my choice for the back pain as opposed to a chiropractor. I highly recommend Jacob Johnson and Next Generation to everyone I know!

Jacob is an excellent health care provider and is very passionate about Physical Therapy. He makes you feel welcome and included in your own treatment and truly cares about getting you better faster so that you can return to work, school, or hobbies. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions so you can feel at ease with your treatment plan. Jacob is constantly updating his knowledge base so that he can provide the most current and evidence-based treatment. I believe Next Generation is a fitting name for this facility because they are concerned with constantly improving their quality of care and the patient experience. Family friendly, down-to earth, and knowledgeable. Can’t get better than that!
